While searching the web a few weeks back, I came across this blog which had several interesting blackjack betting strategies. Being painstakingly bored, I decided that I would log onto my account and try some of them out.
The first system I used was the "Oscar Grid" and it was definitely my favourite because it was a real cash cow. With this betting system, you SCR888 Online start out with a series of numbers. It can be as long or as short as you want. I used a series of 5 when I was playing. Next I wrote the series on a piece of paper like so, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Each number represents a single betting unit. I decided that I would use $10 as one unit.
The first hand I bet $10 and got blackjack. I crossed out the 1 and placed my next bet of two units ($20). I win my next bet and cross out the 2. I now go on to bet three units $30. Are you beginning to see how the system works now? Every time you win, your bet increases to the next number in the series. What happens when you lose? If you are to lose a hand, you place the same bet until you get a win. After you win you would continue to move up to the next number in the series. When you cross out your last number, start a new series from scratch.
Anyways, I brought $100 to the table with me and started playing the Oscar Grid. Within the next hour I was up to $350! Show me the money baby!
The next system I tried was the Martingale. For those of you who don't know what this system is about it can be summed up easily. Double after every loss, return to initial wager after you win. I tried this system out on a table that allowed .10 cent bets. This allowed me to double for quite some time without it getting too expensive. Take a look at the series below:
.10, .20, .40, .80, $1.60, $3.20, $6.40, $12.80, $25.60, $51.20
Even after 10 losses you are only betting $51.20. This is a lot more affordable then a table that has a minimum of $10.
The table max is $200 so you can double for quite a bit. While this system worked for me, the gains were much slower than the Oscar Grid. Again, with $100 and playing for one hour, I only ended up with $150 in the end. There were also some risky moments...
The last system I tried was very fun and also a huge cash cow like the Oscar. It is called the "Fibonacci Betting System". It would take me awhile to explain but it is all in the blog. This time I managed to achieve $325 after an hour of play.
So there you have it, grand total after 3 hours of play is $525. Not bad for a day's work, right?
